West Jakarta Prepares Vehicles to Help Covid-19 Patients

The West Jakarta Transportation Agency has prepared operational service vehicles (KDO) to transport Covid-19 patients who need hospital treatment.

Just call the nearest sub-district and they will continue it to the Health Agency that will coordinate with us,

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Erwansyah expressed this policy was taken to smoothen Covid-19 patients to get treatment at the hospital.

"So, the car is used to transport patients who are under self-isolation if they are critical. If ambulance is full, they can contact the sub-district for help transporting to the hospital," he expressed, Thursday (7/1).

He asserted that they should not be transported by random cars.

"We have eight special cars to serve them. Just call the nearest sub-district and they will continue it to the Health Agency that will coordinate with us," he explained.

He added the type of vehicles prepared was a mini SUV type car and a modified Daihatsu Terios in which the rear seat was removed to place the patient. Then they also installed bulkhead divider with the driver's seat.

"Certainly we are ready to serve anytime," he stated.
